Transnetyx Adds Four New TAG Center
Transnetyx, a Memphis-based molecular diagnostics company, has added four of its Transnetyx Automated Genotyping (TAG) Centers at Emory University, the University of California at San Francisco, Columbia University and the University of Wisconsin.
TAG Centers are currently available at 33 research intuitions around the world, offering researchers access to centralized supplies, free shipping for all tissue samples submitted to Transnetyx and test results within 72 hours of submission.
Transnetyx’s genotyping process eliminates a facility’s need to have testing supplies and reagents on-site, allowing more space for conducting research and housing animals.
“It is our goal with each TAG Center to provide a simplified genotyping process, allowing researchers to focus on a more meaningful task – their work. Our easy-to-use system can assist every academic research intuition currently using transgenic mice,” said Bob Bean, president of Transnetyx.
