MEMPHIS, Tenn. – November 19, 2010 – Transnetyx, a genetic diagnostics company, today announced the addition of Susan Lemoie-Zarba as Regional Account Specialist.
In her new role, Lemoie-Zarba is responsible for developing and servicing new and existing accounts in and around Boston, Mass., as well as implementing new sales strategies and cultivating relationships with universities and private, not-for-profit research organizations. She will report to Transnetyx President, Bob Bean.
“Susan has cultivated a strong background in business development and account support through her previous account management roles and her work in starting and running her own successful company,” said Bean. “Her experience will only further support our high standard of customer service and support.”
Prior to joining Transnetyx, Lemoie-Zarba held positions within a national telecommunications company and an office supply retail chain, where she was tasked with generating new business, marketing and financial analysis. She also started her own construction consultant design company and is responsible for marketing, sales, contract negotiations and designing for kitchen, lighting and bath. Lemoie-Zarba earned her construction engineering degree from the University of Massachusetts and her Master of Business Administration degree from the College of Notre Dame in Belmont, Calif. She’s currently continuing her education at the Rhode Island School of Design, where she’s active in the interior design program.
In her free time, Lemoie-Zarba enjoys volunteering for the Jimmy Fund, which supports the fight against cancer in children and adults at Boston’s Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, and the Melanoma Education Foundation, where she assists with annual fundraising events to raise money for educating students about the warning signs of skin cancer. She lives near Boston with her husband and three children.
