Assay Approval
Do I have to approve the assays on the individual strains even if I have already approved them on the cross strain?
Answer: This is not required. If you have seen all your expected genotypes for that particular cross, you may go ahead and approve the assays. The assay approval process is a way that we track assays in our system. Assay approval is based on the strain and not the individual assays themselves. Therefore, while you may have approved certain assays on the cross strain, the system will prompt you to approve those same assays on the individuals strains.
